I’m struck by how many of these victims are struck down while out on the sidewalk or in a parked car. It’s as if they are completely unaware that they are at risk of being killed. Bizarre.

Oh, and if it’s the same 14 year-old victim I read about a few days ago, the future NAACP leader was out walking the streets at 1:30 AM.
