He is just about there......Political philosophy is Will's topic of choice...he taught it....how can anyone nail down a "philosophy"...you can't. Will's hypothetical approach to anything explains his wish for a Hillary win....Will understands nothing about 95% of America and Americans.
Hillary may already have the final vote counts programmed into the machines in states that her people control. I hope not, but she may have corrupt reasons for her confidence.
My guess is that she knows nothing and both sides have booked fireworks - only the winner is expected to actually pay. I hope!

FYI: Thinking I had lost my mind or Rush had, I went back and checked his transcript because in ‘92 Rush was not working in Kansas City but was already a national talk show host. Sure enough he later on corrected himself that it was the Convention of ‘84 (Reagan’s second term) when Rush met George Will in Dallas. The Convention of ‘92 was in Houston.

NeverTrump have destroyed everything they represent. Regardless of whether Trump wins or looses the overly intellectualized and impotent strain of “conservatism” represented by Will, Kristol, etc is at an end as a living force.
Either Trump wins without them or the will of the GOP’s supporters is thwarted to a large degree because of these “more conservativer than thou” fussbudgets.
The future without a Trump victory means a rapid descent into radicalism for both the left and right. There is no place for these NeverTrump nitwits in either of the worlds they are creating.
You’re wrong on Levin. He has not done himself in. While not shy about his differences with Trump, he has been pretty solid in supporting him over the past few months after he got the antis out of his system. It was, I’ll grant you, bleak during that anti time.
George Will has said he is an “amiable, low-voltage atheist.” Repeatedly.
I always considered him to be a few decades older than me. Evidently not.

George Will may be articulate and intelligent, but that does not mean that he has common sense.
He comes across as naive and shallow in connection with the stark contrast in direction and future of our country, as reflected by the candidates.
Hillary stands for the culture of death for the unborn, for those she does not like, for gun control, for continued corruption, for destruction of Christianity, for open borders, for use of government agencies to destroy her enemies, etc.
In my mind George Will is a loser. Do not know what he was yesterday.
So, the battle lives are drawn.
Guess he thinks he’ll have a party to lead of Trump loses. Yes and no. He’ll have a much smaller party that always loses because the rest of us will be working to extricate ourselves from this 50 state bullshit union.
But, he can pander away to Democrats who will never vote for his ideas while maintaining that this is consistent with the “principles” that precluded him from voting Trump.
The bow tie George Will does not get it.
Conservative Talk radio exist because it is what the people want, not the other way around.
Rush became successful because he tapped into a huge movement that was just waiting to be served.
