The woman had a short hairstyle and wore glasses. She was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, blue jeans and sandals.

Hmmm... seems to an important description detail missing. I'm guessing they weren't Amish.

Well, that narrows it down. The very common clothes would be changed before the story ever got out, so we're left with a man in his 30s. How about info on height, race, build/weight, hairstyle, and facial characteristics?
