“Emails published by WikiLeaks have revealed that Hillary Clinton pal Neera Tanden, president of the Center for American Progress, has a potty mouth and loves to talk trash about Hillary’s other friends.”
“When the news broke in March 2015 that Hillary Clinton had used a private email account as secretary of state, Tanden was not amused. She blamed top Clinton adviser Cheryl Mills for enabling Hillary’s sketchy behavior.”
“This is a Cheryl special,” Tanden wrote in an email to Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta. “Know you love her, but this stuff is like her Achilles heel. Or kryptonie. She just can’t say no to this shit.”
Tanden suggested that Mills and other top Hillary aides kept the email issue secret for so long because “they wanted to get away with it.”
Tanden was still seeing month later, when she emailed Podesta to suggest that the person responsible for letting Hillary set up a private email server should be “drawn and quartered,” an elaborate and brutal method of execution that involves the victim being partially hanged, disemboweled, forced to watch as their vital organs are burned alive, beheaded, dismembered, pulled apart by horses, and having their body parts displayed in various locations as a warning to would be dissenters.
“Do we actually know who told Hillary she could use a private email?” Tanden wrote. “And has that person been drawn and quartered?”
Podesta wrote back, suggested that Mills was to blame, just as Tanden had previously suggested.
“I repeat, why hasn’t this person been drawn and quartered?” Tanden replied.
