Any destruction of evidence is proof of intent. Clearly they were discussing that. In my opinion, Bleachbit cinches it. Who wants to go through all that trouble to obliterate an email about Chelsea’s wedding?

Obviously. A normal person selects emails, and hits delete. A somewhat knowledgeable person goes to the recycle bin/deleted folder, and deletes from there to free up the memory.
Only someone trying to hide something actually uses Bleachbit or some kind of wiping software to try to permanently delete and erase everything.
