I looked it up the other day & the source I saw said that Congress can also appoint a special prosecutor .... why haven’t they if they can? For all the usual suspect reasons, I would imagine.
Also bogus....Hillary and Podesta demanding the FBI release the Huma/weiner emails.

I would have guessed so earlier, but this article is saying that the judge supervising the Weiner GJ is a federal judge. I would think that a federal judge would have no authority over a State GJ. Federal judge = federal GJ I suppose.

The “email’ investigation was the seemingly futile attempt by the FBI to break through the coordinated Clinton/Dept of State/DOJ cover up and obstruction of justice efforts to block the FBI from gaining access to the deleted emails so they do the National Security investigation
Would pardoning help? Once pardoned, there is no 5th amendment peril for any of these bad actors. Their cooperation revealing the extent of the scandal could be required. Once they are required to testify, anything that might otherwise taint the current president could reach the prosecutor’s ear. Would this current occupant take that risk?
