Many months ago, the NYPD said that the two men left this country. They know who they are and they went home; they were "tourists"; supposedly. They were NOT "homelss" at all and that original account of things, was madeup garbage, which the NYPD stated, a couple of days after the bombings in NYC and Jersey. And this was all over the news and this site, way back then.
I got confused trying to follow the story.
There is a homeless man who found bombs in a backpack in New Jersey, in a story I will post below.
I think the way this story got reported, remember some officials were even trying to deny it was a terror attack, was confusing to the public more casually following the story.
Those men in New York removed a pressure cooker from luggage. The homeless man in New Jersey removed a bomb from a backpack. So someone casually following the story could have confused this. They would think oh, just a homeless man finding a piece of luggage or backpack and removing it. They wouldn't necessarily think wow, two possible accomplice terrorists got away.
