A lot of progressives were arguing that Comey didn’t know what was there so he needed a warrant. I got the impression that he discovered what was there so he needed a warrant to make the discovery legal and ensure it would hold up in court.
My gut tells me that he knew what was there and likely long ago.
Didn’t it just come out that FBI operatives held back on disclosing to Comey about Huma Weiner’s server with classified info for some days after the NYPD found it, and , evidently enough time to assess a lot of the damage before confronting Comey and forcing his hand. I think some of the more damning info (edited for security concerns) should be released prior to the election. Sickening to watch Hillary trying to whitewash everything this morning on TV.
