Several folks have commented on why they think he came out with this story. MHO is he sees Trump is every bit as likely, and appearing more so every day, to win this election. That would mean the liberal media having nothing to do but complain about us “deplorables” and our “evil leader” for at least 4 years. Maybe he’s more interested in coming to the other side to keep a job where he’s actually be reporting instead of complaining?
My guess is he was a Bernie supporter and has disdain for her. He sees her for what she is and his emotion caused him to rant the truth.
