Well, Germany like the rest of Europe has a de-population problem . Native born Europeans are delaying marriage and child rearing. This pronomina is primarily driven by regressive fiscal and economic policies that punish young and middle age folks. Meanwhile, workers are needed to continue economic growth.

As you point out, bringing in people with no skills and no work ethic does not solve German problems regarding a lack of INTELLIGENT and SKILLED young workers.

Immigration is not a solution. The only solution is to change the social incentive structure so that young NATIVE Germans start having more children.

Is their economy that good that they need to convince people to breed more laborers?

Merkel is just like the globalist elites in the US. They all want an underskilled labor class who work for less than native labor. Obviously, producing a generation of strong German babies will not fill this niche—until the Globalists have succeeded in bringing every developed country down to third world status.
