The Democrat leadership lacks the integrity to do the right thing and take the long walk up the driveway of one of Hillary's mansion/safe houses to give her the bad news that she is a cancer on this nation and needs to step down.
This is about where these news outlets realize that they’ve stepped on their d!cks and it’s time to abandon their nefarious game plans for the truth before they get slammed.

When the jig was up on Richard Nixon in the summer of ’74, the GOP dispatched its Congressional leadership to the White House to tell the president that, in essence, he was through. They told him that any support from the party had collapsed, and that he could count only on a handful of Republican senators to vote against the impeachment charges already leveled by the House. The rest is history. Nixon resigned his presidency days later.
Can we expect the same from the Democrats? Not bloody likely. I cannot imagine under any circumstances the Democrats dispatching Pelosi, Reid, and other party elders to Chappaqua to tell Hillary the grim news that she must give up her candidacy “for the good of the country.” In other words, don’t hold your breath. First, none of them has the conviction nor the moral fiber to undertake such noble actions; secondly, none of them has the courage. It’s much like belling the cat.
Clinton will stay in the race and face an almost certain and deserved bloodbath at the hands of Donald J. Trump. It takes a village to burn a witch.
I hope you’re right, but I fear this may not move the needle enough. People who like Hillary are unmoved. Those who do not already despite her are insensate.
They know Hihey Hillary is toast. Now they will be honest and hope we forget the last year..nope..we are only getting started media..let the flushing begin

It would only take a few percent to change their minds for Hillary to lose any winning margin she has.
If she quits before election day she probably would have to announce her resignation from the plane carrying her to somewhere that won’t extradite her.
Some folks need to slap that dog down.
The GOP-e “leadership” tried to do the same thing to Trump last month. They failed.
But no, the DNC “leadership” will not go have a talk with Clinton. No more than the Politburo was going to tell Stalin “it’s over” in July 1941.

Though I agree with you entirely, when you say Democrat leadership, who might that be?
Most are completely beholden to Clintons, most are up to their eyeballs in hiding her corruption, and in many cases complicate...
Maybe Schumer could do that and live to tell the tale...
