The way I read the many articles regarding the latest iteration of this scandal is that Weiner is cooperating with authorities. This suggests to me that Weiner is ready to make a deal with the Feds to turn over whatever is on his various devices in return for immunity on the sexting with a minor charge. IMHO, Weiner is total scum and would gladly trade real jail time to throw Huma under the bus. As Huma goes, so goes Hillary for her illegal actions as SoS, illegal trafficking and destruction of classified information after her term as SoS and her illegal activities with the Clinton Foundation and CGI. Aside from her real fear of leaving her child in the hands of Weiner, she has even more fear for what would happen to her health and welfare if she turns on Hillary. My prediction is that Huma is indicted and pardoned.
It may also be that Tony Weiner actually careas about their kid, and figures as long as his marriage is toast, cooperating might keep him out of jail and able to see the little Weiner grow up. Of course his problems pertain to the sexting to a minor allegations and probably won’t get him a life sentence. Huma’s crimes could, if they rise to the standard of treason. Let’s see Obama pardon that away.
