I think Weiner regularly loaded his computer with emails from Huma’s, probably unbeknownst to her. He cleverly put them in a file titled “life insurance”, because that’s what he planned for them.
With Hitlery in the WH and Weiner a disgraced, unemployed, sleazeball, there’s nothing better than being able to blackmail the president.

Why didn’t he encrypt the files?
Is he as stupid as he looks?
Is that possible?
Sounds like a solid plan to me.
