4) Hillarys Staff Admits That She Hates Everyday Americans: During the Democratic debates, Hillary Clinton rather famously said that she considered Republicans to be her enemies. Similarly, Clinton said, You know, to just be grossly generalistic, you could put half of Trump's supporters into what I call the basket of deplorables. Right? Although it is surprising that someone running for President would be so open about despising everyone who disagrees with her politically, that at least makes a certain kind of sense. A socialistic Democrat detests people who believe in capitalism and conservatism. On the other hand, its hard to understand how Americans could vote for someone described this way by John Podesta, one of her closest aides, I know she has begun to hate everyday Americans, but I think we should use it once the first time she says I'm running for president because you and everyday Americans need a champion. If you consider yourself an everyday American, which describes the vast majority of people in the country, how do you vote for someone who HATES you?
This is a mis-characterization of the quote I've highlighted.
The correct context was if "everyday Americans" is quoted, like I just did. Podesta is referring to the phrase.
The phrase was used in Clinton's kickoff of her campaign in Iowa. It was almost immediately criticized, because it appeared to separate her as something different than that group of people.
So they abandoned it, but not without using it one last time in New Hampshire. That's what this particular message was about.
We can assume that when Podesta writes that Hillary "hates everyday Americans" that he means both the phrase and the people. She has stated quite clearly that she considers millions of Americans to be
deplorable and millions of Americans to be her enemies. She is a reckless, hate-filled, liar though in the case of her recklessly stating that she deplores or hates millions of Americans she is actually being truthful.
