There has to be something behind this to make that move. The easy path would be to just say there were no Hillary emails there and move on and of course not make this public.
What could be so huge in the emails between Huma and whoever to make this big an announcement.
I agree...If nothing was there, the FBI would not have reopened the investigation...
I have already posted on another thread my guess.
But to make it short here:
The FBI is looking at everything, computers, thumb drives, DVD’s, etc., for child porn.
My suspicion is that Huma when she left, forgot to take something bordering on espionage. Maybe in the computer she shared or a DVD.
And that information also in some way links Hillary to it.
As you infer, there is no way the FBI is going to open the matter again just because they found another email similar to what they have already.

My belief is Hillary was selling classified info to foreign agents, and Huma’s emails are proof. Wouldn’t be surprised if Huma was the one putting the deals together.

Speculation can be rampant, but first of all, It seems implausible that they are just now getting around to Carlos and his wife. So my bet is that they’ve had this stuff for some time now and have probably done a lot of internal investigating of the contents. Then why now? I think that Comey sees the handwriting on the wall that Trump is likely to win the election. Ergo, he has no cover, so he’s trying this at this late hour to try and keep himself out of jail. My two cents anyway!
