I took it that as a parent, he could appreciate his parents so be in touch & tell them you love them - don’t wait. I don’t think there was anything sinister about it.

I honestly think Putin has a good idea that DJ is gonna pull this thing out, and looks forward to 'working' with someone who can be counted on for clarity/honesty.
