The FBI is reopening its investigation into Hillary Clinton's private email server.
Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah) tweeted Friday morning: "FBI Dir just informed me, 'The FBI has learned of the existence of emails that appear to be pertinent to the investigation.' Case reopened."
Moments later, NBC News reported that the agency was reopening the investigation and shared a letter from FBI director James Comey informing key lawmakers of the investigation.

"This stunning development raises serious questions about what records may not have been turned over and why, and whether they show intent to violate the law. What's indisputable is that Hillary Clinton jeopardized classified information on thousands of occasions in her reckless attempt to hide pay-to-play corruption at her State Department," Priebus said in a statement. "This alone should be disqualifying for anyone seeking the presidency, a job that is supposed to begin each morning with a top secret intelligence briefing."
I don’t want to be defending Rush because he sure doesn’t need me.
But he did NOT say the FBI is trying to distract from WikiLeaks.
He said a CYNIC would declare the FBI is trying to distract from WikiLeaks. He warns his listeners that they will no doubt come across these cynics, to keep calm.
All the chatter about Rush saying this is a distraction, that next week it will be all over, WikiLeaks forgotten....WRONG.
Sheesh, on FreeRepublic even we got to misquote Rush?
If Comey delivers the coup de grace to Hillary to save his worthless reputation, only to be later discovered “napping” in Fort Marcy Park it would be the perfect poetic ending to this shameful travesty.
I wondered about the congress critters too.
I know they are out until after the election but damn, if the congress can have their feet peed upon and be told it is raining so easily, surely they have some pride, no?
Congress needs to appoint an independent prosecutor (I know they passed a law against them which makes me ask why?) and let us once again defy a CRIME AS A CRIME!
Even if committed by a Clinton!
“I have zero faith in the FBI”
I’m about 80% there, I’m hoping upon hope that the 20% shines through. The difference between the DOJ and the FBI? DOJ = 100% slimy Lawyers, educated and trained to lie. FBI = a lot of ex Military whom I have ALOT more faith in.
Comey trying to save his own ass. His reputation has been trashed, if Trump wins and a criminal conspiracy investigation ensues, Comey's first in line to go down for covering Clintons' ass.
“Or a statement saying the election has been indefinitely postponed due to unforeseen circumstances...:(” People need to stop with this stupid crap. The elections are NOT going to be postponed or called off. It AIN’T gonna happen.
I’ve read where obama may give Hillary a presidential pardon. But I was wondering how he could pardon her for something she hasn’t been charged with. Wouldn’t that then be admitting her guilt before the charges?
However, supposing she has officially been charged with something before he leaves office, couldn’t he pardon her and effectively tie Trump’s hands from doing what he promised?
I hope that doesn’t backfire.
Or maybe that’s the point. To protect her.
Just announced that it was from Weiner’s device(s).
Judge Napolitano on Fox said YES to that question about 45 minutes ago. With the caveat that they would surely be impeached. I have serious doubts they could muster enough RAT Senators to get to 60. There just aren't enough honest, rule of law Democrat voters that would make RAT Senators pay a price in the election booth if their Senator voted against impeachment.
Second that. Read same thing.
Maybe Huma gets indicted for sending classified information to Weiner
“Just announced that it was from Weiners device(s)”
So Clinton is going to throw Huma under the bus, not surprised.
Expect Huma to resign within 24 hours...
“Ive read where obama may give Hillary a presidential pardon. But I was wondering how he could pardon her for something she hasnt been charged with.”
A president can pardon whoever he wants for any Federal crime regardless of whether their has been any charges at all.
Ford gave Nixon a full preemptive pardon even though Nixon had not been charged.
Gerald Ford gave Richard Nixon a full and unconditional pardon for any crimes he might have committed against the United States while president.
In 1866, the Supreme Court ruled in Ex parte Garland that the pardon power extends to every offence known to the law, and may be exercised at any time after its commission, either before legal proceedings are taken, or during their pendency, or after conviction and judgment. (In that case, a former Confederate senator successfully petitioned the court to uphold a pardon that prevented him from being disbarred.) Generally speaking, once an act has been committed, the president can issue a pardon at any timeregardless of whether charges have even been filed.
Emails on Weiner’s device “number in the thousands”.
Investigation continues pass election day...
Drudge makes me laugh with all the “funny” pictures of Hillary he displays.
“But beyond that, Im a little suspicious there may be some shenanigans going on at the highest levels that could result in major players getting immunity , pardons; resulting in social unrest and a suspension of the election or the inauguration.”
Don’t worry about any suspension of the election. Early voting is in progress all over the country now, and Trump and the American people would rise up in revolution were any hanky panky to take place by the Obama Admin.
You are right, there are all sorts of good FBI agents. When I had to commute to Chicago each day when working downtown, I often sat with 3 FBI guys (you sat in a 4-seat area with seats for 2 facing each other). I was the one female with the 3 FBI guys, so I felt very secure with them around me, lol. They were so nice to me, all were family men, and although I never heard any shop talk out of them, I had a real good idea as to their character. Good eggs all.
Agreed, with emphasis.
