Hillary Clinton's State Department spent millions of taxpayer dollars on lavish goods and frivolous initiatives, such as a $5.4 million "no-bid contract for crystal stemware" and $630,000 to "increase Facebook likes on four State Department pages." The expenditures appeared in a 21-page memo, prepared by the Republican National Committee, that documented the financial mismanagement that occurred at the State Department under Clinton's watch.
While wasteful spending is a familiar find at most federal agencies, Clinton presided over particularly expensive unsuccessful reconstruction efforts in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Her agency spent more than $600 million on failed projects in those two countries alone, according to the RNC memo.
The projects included a $3.6 million fleet of "unused broadcast TV trucks" in Afghanistan and $167.5 million on "preventable cost overruns while expanding embassy Kabul."
The State Department spent an additional $9.8 million on purchases the GOP characterized as "frivolous," such as the $79,000 in taxpayer funds Clinton's agency used to buy up copies of President Obama's book or the $53,004 her agency spent on "marble polishing services" at the U.S. embassy in Brasilia "during the summer of 2010."

I hope she dies.
“No bid” contracts?
Better believe the money went to companies tied to the Clinton Crime Family in some fashion.
Per the article, it was a no-bid contract.
Who got it?
I’d look in that house over in Chewbacca-qua-qua for the “stemware”.
She probably will....right after the election.
I wonder how many other no-bid contracts Foggy Bottom let while Hillary was there...
Lots of crystal was broken during the Benghazi raid. s/off
Verklempt to death
Are they in Chipakwa? Her reservation over yonder in New York?
If that’s where they landed, perhaps she needed replacements because she’s thrown too many at Bill.
Meanwhile, the USS Olympia. A national treasure is rotting in Philadelphia for want of 20 million dollars of dry dock work.
They are discussing towing to sea to sink it as a reef.
A classic historic ship, fired the first shots of the Spanish American war in Manila Bay. Carried the unknown soldier home from WWI. And they spend 6 million on crystal stemware. I hope they choke on their expensive champagne which im sure they bought as well.
I would love to know.
My lovely Polish housekeeper would have done it for far less. [AND brought you your slippers]
When you don’t have to pay for your stuff, you don’t care how much the wine glasses cost.
Id look in that house over in Chewbacca-qua-qua for the stemware.
I work one town over from there, hang on let me go check.
And she is running for president of the USA?
Hello?
I'm sure Hitlery thought this was much more important than improving security at Benghazi! I wonder how much of the crystal stemware disappeared upon her exit from the State Department???
I’d lay at least even odds that Donald Trump would find a way to pay for it, even if that entails putting the Trump logo on the side of the restored museum piece...
There should never be “no-bid” contracts. A “no-bid contract” is a form of treason, and a direct theft from the citizens.
5.4 million for stemware? $54 a glass gets you the top of the line, did they buy 100,000 glasses? I’m guessing they paid many times that amount, and a connected friend pocketed the difference.
