I liked Heinlein's "Amazon Warriors" in "Tunnel In The Sky." The principle was that you could train female warriors to their maximum combat potential but they didn't fight the same way as the men because they were physically and mentally different. That way women who wanted to be in combat could be. They fought in separate battalions from the men and were extremely effective in the book.
Logical but politically incorrect.

I hav met big tall strong muscular women and tiny little milk toast weak handshake “men”. We had a landlord with such a light grip you would think he was dead. There have always been women at the front lines. Going back to Martha Wasghington, Clara Barton, etc.

They fought in separate battalions from the men and were extremely effective in the book. You can make any piece of nonsense "effective" in a book.

Rush Limbaugh’s idea as well. . .His point was a group of women eventually align their “time of the month,” and we just wait until that time and send them into combat then. . .
