Dad and Uncle J. were NYPD cops from the 40s through the early 80s.
That being said, I am no great fan of all cops. Like in any group you are going to find jerks. When a jerk has a gun and power he can be more dangerous than your standard jerk.
But they are needed. We can (and should) be prepared to protect ourselves, but armed robbery, murder, and Marxist funded rioting (talking bout YOU Soros) needs well trained police forces.
