I buy, when I buy, Lee's or Wranglers. Back when I was welding, I would go to the Army Surplus store buy some Army fatigue shirts and a pair of Wranglers. Take them home wash, starch and iron them. The welding sparks and burning slag just rolled off them. I could weld overhead with 6010 or 6011 rods and not get one burn.
