I live near one of the Seneca reservations here in Western New York. A few weeks ago I went to the “fall festival” there and saw a young guy, about 20 years old and HUGE, with a Cleveland Indians hat on. With the logo in this story. I first talked to him about how the team was doing, I’m a 60 year fan, and quickly realized he knew almost nothing about the team. I told him I was concerned about wearing my hat and he laughed. He had the hat because so many people on the “res” LOVE that logo!

Many years ago Dennis Praeger had a "Native American activist" on his show how was trying to pressurer terams with "offensive" names to change them,. This assclown asked Peager, an ordained rabbi how he would like it if there was a team called the Texas Jewboys (obviously he never heard of Kinky Freidman .) Praeger laughed and replied he would be overjoyed because FINALLY after 5000 years someone would be cheering for us.

If the left is truly serious about eliminating all cultural references of the original native Americans, nuking a few team logos is a pointless waste of time: they need to eradicate every geographic reference in our nation that uses a native American word and cleanse our dictionary of all native American words as well.
