She went back to her maiden name after a divorce. She has since attempted remarriage (she's Irish and Italian, so I don't know if there are any Catholic related issues with that) but chose not to use her new last name "Brunt" professionally. I don't hold that against her.

Of course, she has become the opposite of a good journalist, wanting to BE the story. It was better when women didn't read the news. Huntley-Brinkley, anyone?

Having seen her up close and personal at the 2012 RNC convention as she strutted from her makeup/green room out to the FOX platform in the hall, with her nose far up in the air, I'm hard pressed to think she's a raving beauty, on the outside!

Bret Baer and others smiled, waved and posed for pictures with attendees but not Kelly.

What I really noticed most about her was just how thick her foundation was. Usually that's done for folk with scarred, bad or pitted skin, or in the olden days, masses of freckles.

Don't know about the reason but such thick foundation plus the double layer black eyelashes made her look rather clownish, in person.
