I hate early voting. But since we have it, might as well rack up some Trump votes. I’m still waiting for Election Day to vote myself. It’s a tradition for me.

“I agree. Do what Trump says.”
______________________________

Agreed. It is more important to provide hints of truth (Trump is winning) to combat bogus polls trying to convince the public that the race is all but over.

The few uncommitted that remain want to jump on the winner’s bandwagon. We need to show Trump is winning. (R’s going to the polls).

This is just common sense. If Trump’s supporters are more excited than Hillary’s, then that fact should be evident now that the polls are open.

We have to deny the media the narrative that Hillary is winning the turnout to vote by a landslide. The more Trump supporters that vote early the more it refutes the media narrative they always use state ing the voters for the Democrat have more enthusiasm because they are voting early.

This election is too important to risk not being able to vote on election day.

I agree, but if I'm on my deathbed my family has ORDERS to drag me to the polls, over a field of broken glass if necessary, so I can vote! Early voting is convenient, but offers too much opportunity for votes to be "lost" or not counted, much like the absentee ballots sent to the military.

“why...vote early”

I don’t trust sending an absentee ballot back through the mail, my in-laws in CA said those weren’t even opened there unless they could make a difference. Don’t know if correct or not, but I am concerned that a postal worker in a deep red county could interfere. If using absentee, would only deposit it at the Board of Elections office.

We voted early here because the Board of Elections has a regular polling place set up so that we could cast our ballot in the machine just as on election day with a very small line. Ensures we get our vote entered and will be counted, no shenanigans on election day (eliminates the potential for a last minute question putting us in the provisional ballot line, also avoid just generally long lines).

The numbers of early voters, in person or by absentee, is tracked - and the media will use it if it can show a higher D turnout. Ignored when R’s are higher - but at least if we can overwhelm the early voting, it takes that argument away and can be pointed to in showing how wrong the polls are.

I am encouraging all I know to vote early. Can also free us up on election day to be a poll watcher or otherwise help bring Trump supporters to vote.

so many responses sound like fear.

So many ways fraud or mistakes can happen with either early or day of voting.

Main thing is Vote AND Trust God, Keep praying for His will, that good over takes any evil concerning our election results and all involved

Procrastinating can have serious impact. At the last minute your spouse or kid could get sick or injured. Your boss could come up with a must-do project. A hurricane or tornado could hit your place.

A hundred things can happen to impact 4% of Trump voters to have good intentions but not show up. 4% of Trump voters is the obvious difference between winning and losing.

Exactly why I voted yesterday. As an added bonus, there was no line. I was in and out, Making America Great Again, in 10 minutes.

Why not vote ON election day like good Americans.

Because it is irresponsible to wait until the last minute, for multiple reasons mentioned above.

Let Hillary's voters get discouraged by the long lines. They don't really like her that much to begin with.

I’m voting on election day, period. Early voting should be made illegal except for the military.

Yes, I think you’ve hit the nail on the head.

Trump wants his advantage (enthusiasm) to manifest as much as possible in order to counteract the democrat strategy of using the media to create a sense of foregone conclusion in her favor.

This includes touting favorable polls, touting his huge crowds at rallies, and early voting helps with this, since the democrats tend to vote early more than republicans (as part of their psy ops).

I hate early voting unless there’s a really good excuse.

However, living in a very small town in Pennsylvania suburbia, I realize my voting experience is unusual. Zero lines, usually more workers than voters. There are only two machines but by the time I show my ID and sign in (with people who know me anyway!), it’s my turn to vote.

I know these people and even the lefties would never dream of pulling any shenanigans. I doubt there has ever been a wrinkle here.

15 miles south in center city Philadelphia, they are famous for wanton cheating, blatant intimidation and outright voter fraud.

I think that whether or not you take Trump’s advice to vote early depends on your situation. Here in small town PA, it’s not easy to vote early.

Besides, I love Election Day! No way I’m voting early - I want to be part of the Election Day surprise, the “shock and awe” that lands on the dems, the Clintons, the left, the media, the globalists, the RINOS.

I want to see the look on their faces when it hits them all at once.

If too many people vote early it will spoil the surprise.

“I’m voting on election day, period. Early voting should be made illegal except for the military.”

I agree that early voting should be illegal, as well as going back to absentee ballots requiring an actual reason. But until that happens, we need to beat them at their own game. If Trump voters turn out early - and overwhelmingly elect Trump based on that early voting - only then may enough Democrats consider the error of their approach. They will then claim the election was rigged with early voting and push to roll it back.

Have always thought that early or absentee voting was just so the dims would have enough time to manufacture the votes they needed to win.

Also understand people are afraid that they could get sick, have car wreck etc.

So, trying to split the difference and have picked the last 3 days of early voting to get it done plus election day itself of course. But voting as long as a month ahead? NO way.

Arguments can be made on both sides.

More Trump supporters voting on Election Day means more eyes at the polls to notice any Dem shenanigans.

More Trump supporters voting on Election Day means the Dems won't know how many votes they need to cook up to rig the election.

etc.

How our country has turned!

A once honorable day is now referred to as an "irresponsible" and "last minute" decision.

An opportunity for all Americans to do something together by voting on the same day has been turned into a mishmash of whatever, whenever misguided pragmatism.

Sad. Sad. Sad.

I agree with this. IMO voting too early gives the dems info on how much voter fraud they need to win. We do have to early vote at my house since I am taking elderly relatives to the polls.....they live in different areas and it would be too much trying to haul them to their different polling places on the 8th. But, I told them we will vote on the next to the last day of early voting. I want to wait till as late as possible so our votes count! 9 votes for Trump with my immediate family....MAGA!

My fear is that gives them plenty of time to lose our votes. I don’t trust the system, I have to vote on election day, but I understand what you are saying. Our election system is the easiest to corrupt in the civilized world by design.

Early voters, fewer democrat absentee ballots being sent in as were in 2012.
