WHY?

I’m a traditionalist. Voting on Election Day!

The article says it provides too much county by county intel to the enemy.

Yeah, but they may be reading it wrong. I think and know Democrats are going to vote DJT more than they think.

IIRC the reason being given for voting early by the Trump campaign is that the early ballots leave a paper trail which is less susceptible to vote fraud. No doubt someone here can provide some confirmation or refutation.

Would lke some confirmation also. Thought early voting gives the enemy more information.....

So glad someone has asked the question. I keep wondering why it is beneficial/better/whatever to vote early.

That would blind Democrats to how much fraud they need to commit. But on the other hand it excites our side to see reports of long lines to vote with lots of red hats and red shirts. I go with vote now.

I voted yesterday. This election is too important to risk not being able to vote on election day.

I don’t want my city clerk to have control over my ballot any longer than necessary. No early voting here.

Well at my age I wanted to make sure I didn’t die before the election so I waited two hours in line to vote first day in NC. :-)

What happens if an army of non-english speaking Americans clog up the voting booths because they can’t read? Is there a time limit or can they stand in there all day long?

Too late for me. We vote by mail here in Washington State. Sent my ballot in on Monday.

Pros and cons - to stop the early voting would make it look really good for Clinton and might demoralize some Trump supporters at this juncture.

The "plan" would sabotage our side and trump knows it as he asks folks to vote early.

Thread from a blatant TROLL.
An early vote is a guaranteed vote.
Procrastinating can have serious impact. At the last minute your spouse or kid could get sick or injured. Your boss could come up with a must-do project. A hurricane or tornado could hit your place.

A hundred things can happen to impact 4% of Trump voters to have good intentions but not show up. 4% of Trump voters is the obvious difference between winning and losing.

OTOH, Clinton voters should vote on Nov 9 as the lines will be very short on that day.

Vote ASAP!

I have seen numerous cases where a dim activist simply goes into Early Voting and claims to be someone else.

They used to only do this with voters they knew to be dead, registered but never vote, etc.

Note that even if ID is required, dim election workers let the scam artist vote. In some cases, they KNOW the activist and what he is doing.

In 2012, millions of Republicans went to the polls on election day and were told that they had already voted!
