Envy is bad if the reason you hate rich people is because they are rich.

Envy is good if the rich people you hate are criminals or have received special government treatment/favors in exchange for bribes, or they actively harm people in the process of getting rich.

Nowadays we live in a Kleptocracy, and in such a regime (like in Russia, China, etc.) the majority of the rich people are bad people.

Just saying...times have changed...

“Just saying...times have changed...”

Sure have - I still remember when “public servant” meant “serving the public” and not “serving the public on a silver platter.”

It was back when we were citizens and not “deplorables.”

I disagree. Envy, is never good. It will eat you alive from the inside out and is one of the seven deadly sins. God’s commandment says not to covet your neighbors goods. It doesn’t say don’t covet your neighbors goods unless they got them illegally or unethically then its OK.

I’m willing to speculate as you have done just now but let’s do remember as idiotic as his decision was it’s still merely speculation that his decision was tied to any payment.

No evidence has been brought forth proving the man’s guilt of bribery. God awful decision we all can agree on but criminal? Bribery? Will take more than just stating it
