I have to agree. The only third party presidential candidate in my lifetime to get over 10% of the vote was Ross Perot. And Ross Perot was a household name. During the 1992 campaign, he probably got more press coverage than Bush or Clinton.
I don't see this Johnson guy anywhere. He's just a name on a ballot for most people. He got 1.37% of the vote in 2012 and I'm betting he doesn't get 3 per cent this time. Lot of that Johnson support showing up in the polls is probably hidden Trump support.
Perot also participated in the debates.
