We are going to quit Direct TV and just go with net connection. We have been getting our old brains and fingers around the idea. We are sick of most of the channels and the money we send to those who don’t share our morals and political views. We all need to cut the money we are giving to the MSM to really hurt them. The NFL is just a start.

My parents are in their seventies and know how to watch movies and shows on their big screen using Netflix and an iPad. I haven’t a clue how to do that (but I’m also not interested in most of today’s television; I am a luddite who buys DVDs).
I haven’t had luck convincing my folks to dump cable though. If enough people do that it would be the end of a lot of subsidized garbage.
I too plan to quit Direct TV. I’ll miss Dobbs, Hannity and Jeanine Pirro the most, their shows are about all we watch anymore.
My plan is to make the call right after the election. At $125 each month, I’ll save about $1,500 each year.
