Many of the people announcing an intention to vote for Donald Trump are adding a disclaimer to distance themselves from his unsavory comments or actions of the past. Im not going to do that. In my view Donald Trump is today a far different and better man than the one who threw his hat in the ring at the start of this election cycle. I credit that to the unprecedented level of public vilification the borking of Donald Trump he has endured and appears to have been transformed by.
Whatever his worldview and the context of his past experience might have been, and regardless of the level of his sincerity at the beginning of his campaign, this man has made himself the spokesman for numerous positions and values that Christian conservatives (at great personal cost) have advocated for years. He hasnt just pandered to us, he has walked in our shoes these past months, going far beyond the minimum necessary to align himself with us, and he has learned firsthand what we have endured at the hands of the Marxist elites. And through it all he hasnt been intimidated into caving and pandering to the left like every other champion weve put our hopes in including the otherwise stalwart Mike Pence in the Indiana RFRA debacle. Trumps transformation is the best example of personal growth and maturity in a public figure that Ive seen in my lifetime.
What more could Christian conservatives hope for than to watch a man of Trumps wealth, power, acumen and courage discover the truth of the culture war and the utter corruption of the left by personal experience on his path to the White House?

He isnt Ronald Reagan, but in many ways, he will have much more on his plate than Reagan did.
The economy is in many ways worse shape now than when Reagan got in, because this federal government is out and out LYING their asses off about how bad it is.
Since Reagan, the Bushs and Clintons have served the globalist interests faithfully, trading power between the two dynasties just often enough to preserve the illusion of democracy, while ensuring a steady cultural drift toward global socialism. There was never any realistic chance of preservation or expansion of Reagans conservative legacy with the likes of Dole, snake-in-the-grass McCain, or Romney. And I believe the Bush/Clinton agreement for 2016 was always a Hillary presidency, with Jeb Bush playing the part of the amiable loser (a la Bob Dole) who would then hold the post of heir apparent for four or eight years.

My wife and I noted tonight Trump has gotten better...
He’s not as folksy as Mag was but he’s less restrained by political correctness which I love and he wars with media another plus
And his kids are way way better
Gorgeous family especially the splittails which are all drop dead hot women
Sometimes Trump talks like Christopher Walken which I find endearing
Trump can save our country and country...our peoples
I don’t believe he’s a better candidate, but is more suited for these times...as RR was for his.
Here in Utah I find it strange that the big picture is overlooked over beliefs coming from the destruction crew. Even stupid Romney fails to see how they handled his dumb ass with all the fake accusations and lies.
Thanks for posting this great new perspective. I’ll be using this in discussions every day until the election.
I was just thinking the other day how Trump has grown into the job.
As we watched him on Hannity last night, my husband and I both saw a man filled with a righteous anger at a thoroughly corrupt system. The election process has changed him. He’s on a mission now.
I saw Trump on Hannity tonight and thought he had changed since the beginning of his run.
Ha! My post #8.
Same as us precisely
Hannity and Laura helped save Trump
He’s a treasure no doubt
Talks similar to Trump
Queens raised
Both of them
Absolute drivel.
Reagan was able to communicate far better than Trump can, he could discuss policies as well as debate far better than Trump can and he had governing experience that Trump doesn’t have (but might’ve if Trump had bothered to run for mayor or governor—apparently his ego only wants the top spot).
Walken is baffled by the obsession with his speech patterns.
He says everyone in Queens sounds like him.
I love that guy.
:)
Did you go to the link and read the whole article?
(There will be a test later.)
The early life of St. Augustine comes to mind.
Watch this PLEASE
He isn’t Reagan, he is Trump and as you pointed out it’s a different world, a world that needs Trump.

Spot on! He's proof positive that persecution refines a man of character. He is absolutely fearless, which is such a refreshing change from our last quarter century of RINOs....
Ummmmm the return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ maybe?
Revelation 22:20
He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus
