NEWTOWN, Pa./CLEVELAND, Oct 21 (Reuters) - Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump gained on his Democratic rival Hillary Clinton among American voters this week, cutting her lead nearly in half, according to Reuters/Ipsos polling released on Friday. The polling data showed Trump's argument that the Nov. 8 election is "rigged" against him has resonated with members of his party.
"Remember folks, it's a rigged system," Trump told a Pennsylvania rally on Friday. "That's why you've got to get out and vote, you've got to watch. Because this system is totally rigged."
Clinton led Trump 44 percent to 40 percent, according to the Oct. 14-20 Reuters/Ipsos poll, a 4-point lead. That compared with 44 percent for Clinton and 37 percent for Trump in the Oct. 7-13 poll released last week.

Real voters need to get out and vote in sufficient numbers to overcome the fraud.
God be with us.
Yes, truth resonates!
Western PA will turn out in droves to counteract the Philly Phraud.
4 polls have had Trump in the race all along. Now that Reuters comes along and Trump is “only” down 4 points then something is up. These clowns in the media are too funny.
The rigged MSM is the Country’s greatest threat.
Of course it "resonates." We've all known it to be true looooooong before DJT came on the scene.
Watch the media polls-schmolls slowly creep up towards Trump advantage closer to 11/8 we move. They need to save their own a**.
As Trump has said before, if the judge against you in a boxing match, the only way to win is to go for a knockout punch. The win has to be so overwhelming to overcome the rigging
44 - 40 ... if this is accurate, numbers like that this late in an election cycle point to overall very low voter turnout...in which case, Trump wins - as do many other Republicans already written off as defeated. While there are 3rd party candidates running, they aren’t polling in the mid teens to low 20s like a Ross Perot to explain these numbers. Trump 47%, Hillary 44%, others split the rest on election night...winning by 3 full percentage points should be enough to carry at least 270 EVs.
Media narrative will be that while Trump won, he got less than a majority of the vote and therefore isn’t legitimate and most voters reject him...of course they said nothing of the sort about Clinton in 92 and 96 in which he got 43% and 49% respectively.
does anyone actually believe that Hillary has ever had a lead on Trump? if Trump wins by 8/9/10 points then we will be laughing at the MSM who has been trying to convince us that Hillary was actually ahead by 11/12 points for the last five or six weeks.
If it resonates, then they’re in real big trouble when WikiLeaks and Okeefe come out with their releases next week.
Most Americans don’t like to be played for suckers. They know the dim party stinks like a rat.
I was watching an old Dick Cavett show from 1979 earlier and he said “Nixon show us just how slimy the government is.” I wonder what he would think today.
I would have expected all sorts of Bill as First Lady interviews, jokes, etc. Did I miss it, or is it just not there? Is it because he is so senile looking? Maybe some people are ready for a little style and glamour in the White House after the last eight years. Visuals and “image” matter to a lot of people.
Definitely.
Regardless of the election outcome, we’ve gained tremendous ground. I didn’t expect this type of momentum until 2020 with the possibility of a heavy-handed course correction.
The Establishment has run this election so dirty that there is now only one legitimate outcome: A Trump victory. They have sacrificed the legitimacy of the existing order of things in an all out attempt to stop him.
This election is now “heads Trump wins, tails everyone looses.” But if it is tails the Democrats, GOPe, and rest of the machine will be the biggest losers of all. Things are going to fall apart for them real fast...
