Lying is only half the formula. To really get fanatical devotion, you have to tell people the lies that they really want to be true. Lies that absolve them of responsibility for their problems, or lay the blame on scapegoats. Lies that tell them that the bad things they want to do are good, and the good things they don’t want to do are bad.
Basically, just act like Satan in the garden, and almost everyone will become enamoured with you very quickly.
That’s why I say, this man is of his father, the Devil.
Good politicians mix truth with desirable lies so effectively that sheeple cant tell the difference. Sheeple focus on their desires with strong feelings (feelings are real, but are not necessarily about truth). The politician and sheeple are now linked tightly, and if sheeple should later doubt the politician, they must also doubt themselves. Pride will prevent this.
Oh yes. I’m sure it will be “Don’t worry about that 666 thingy, nobody takes the Bible literally anymore. That’s for fundamentalists!”
I have worked in many places where the customer always quickly gravitated towards the lie, regardless of whether it would pan out that way (it never did and I have multiple examples). A rare few, a rare few were thankful I spelled out the path to success right from the get-go, with realistic costs and delivery dates.
I have multiple examples but won’t share who or where.
