Here's the Right approach for dealing with Alinsky tactics by the Democrats. I call it Ralinsky tactics, this is Reverse Alinsky tactics.
Since ridicule is a key tactic, simply assess the dems fear of a person or concept by the amount of ridicule they employ.
A couple of examples stand out. Birthers were and continue to be among the most ridiculed group by the dems. Birthers' claims must be true, they've never stopped their belittling on this topic. Sarah Palin was probably the most belittled of any candidate. We now find from their own admission that they truly feared her.
When a Dem uses ridicule, we should simply say "cut the Alinsky crap, you most really fear this person or issue if you use nothing but ridicule as your response."
I'm sure this group can develop many other ways that this can be employed.

No foreign influence on the Presidency is what John Jay stated in a letter to George Washington as the reason for insisting on a natural born citizen.

Who believes Washington, Jefferson, Adams, Jay, Monroe, Madison, etc. would have found him to be a natural born citizen?
Who believes they would have thought the recently deceased King of Thailand was eligible to be President?

Alinsky and reverse alinsky tactics are not mutually exclusive. Awareness of the tactics are key.
