God is angry, but is still striving to bring a gracious answer to the scene. God is very, very notably slow to anger, and abortions don’t thwart His master plan. Nonetheless we are answerable for evils of commission and omission.
Even the Egyptians who were sympathetic towards the children of Israel were afforded some mercy during the plagues.
I pray that something similar happens when the Lord delivers just retribution... if it happens in this world.
For all we know, God might wait until the resurrection.
