They are called operatives for a reason. They get fired when they get exposed, drop into a lower level position until the heat dies down and they’ll be back where they were a year from now. Political operatives are like la cosa nostra: getting busted is just a job hazard.
I’m not necessarily blaming O’Keefe, but those around him who seek to milk a story that has yet to materialize.
