Two days before the Obama administration formally accused the Russian government of hacking Democrats, NYTimes reports that a man identified as a "Russian hacker suspected of pursuing targets in the United States" was arrested in the Czech Republic. While the arrest was made on Oct 5th, officials stated that "we postponed the announcement for tactical reasons," which makes one wonder whether this is the debate-day-distraction Hillary needs?
The United States director of national intelligence, James R. Clapper Jr., said in a statement on Oct. 7 that high-level Russian officials were trying to interfere with American elections.
“The recent disclosures of alleged hacked emails on sites like DCLeaks.com and WikiLeaks and by the Guccifer 2.0 online persona are consistent with the methods and motivations of Russian-directed efforts,” Mr. Clapper said. “These thefts and disclosures are intended to interfere with the U.S. election process.”
Mr. Clapper said that “such activity is not new to Moscow,” and he accused Russia of using similar tactics across Europe to influence public opinion.

“We believe, based on the scope and sensitivity of these efforts,” he said, “that only Russia’s senior-most officials could have authorized these activities.”
But, as The New York Times reports, a "russian hacker" was arrested two days before this... and the announcement delayed until today... Debate Day!?

David Schön, a police spokesman, said on Wednesday that the man, whose name has not been released, was arrested on Oct. 5. “We postponed the announcement for tactical reasons,” he said.
The statement said that “the man was a Russian citizen suspected of hacking attacks on targets in the United States,” and that the raid was conducted in collaboration with the F.B.I. after Interpol issued an arrest warrant for him.
A judge in Prague has ordered the man to remain in custody, and a court will examine whether to extradite him to the United States. Neither the Czech authorities nor the F.B.I. would supply further details.
Czech police said the suspect was traveling in the Czech Republic with his girlfriend and had a luxury car. Upon arrest, the man collapsed and was hospitalized, officials said. Extradition proceedings in Czech courts could see the suspect turned over to face possible charges in the United States. (via Google Translate)

I wish we could get this description of the take down to Trump for him to quote - and then ask why the media blackout on the illegal raid on the embassy and the captures of Assange - and mention, as you know, You didn’t stop the release of your emails - you simply succeeded in his getting them out to safety and dumped early -

None if this “foreign stuff” has anything to do with her crimes, or that of her campaign. During debate Trump can take out two birds here by just replying with what I said in first sentence and by pointing out that how sad it is that journalists here dont do their jobs well enough so American’s only get told of intergovernmental corruption by foreigners. Assange was going to wait until NOV - I thought that was too late - need time for our side to comb thru and get pertinent emails to public -

I have, for decades wondered why the conservatives don’t wake up and realize that we need to compete in the media =
need an equal presence re publications - and more than one tv outlet.
We know the media is just an arm of the liberals and yet we let them control the field - (same for colleges - did you ever read my friend, Charlotte Iserbyt’s book: “The Deliberate Dumbing Down of America”? It should be on every bookshelf, beside “Atlas Shrugged”.)
That’s like fighting a war against a well equipped military - with pea-shooters.
