<< I have to assume they are in the Richmond, Norfolk and Roanoke areas. >>

Yes! When I attended the Trump rally in Roanoke, stood in line with locals who don’t believe their vote matters with so many liberals in Arlington and Fairfax. With much of that vote demoralized this time, we really need the red part of the state to show up and bring friends and family! Their votes really DO matter.

Interesting for you to report voters say that. It is disturbing, because it is so self defeating. The rule of thumb is that the republican must get 40% of the vote in Fairfax County for the republican to have a chance statewide. Cuccinelli just got 40% of the vote in Fairfax and lost by 10,000 votes statewide, so maybe you need a bit more than 40%. He would have made a really good governor, too.

I wonder how many people stayed home because they thought their vote wouldn't count. I think the Atty General race was decided by less than 1,000 votes.

I'm glad there are people in your part of the state who get it.

I think anecdotes are near worthless, but here goes anyway. Up here, I have seen 2 Hillary bumper stickers. I have purposely driven around neighborhoods to check out signs. No yard signs for Hillary...not a one. I have seen one Trump bumper sticker and no yard signs.

Obviously, in 2008 and 2012 there were quite a few Obama bumper stickers and yard signs.

Perhaps less democrats will turn out this year and it may, just may work to Trump's advantage.
