I bet it was a real blast!
I lived close enough to the Marine Corps base at Quantico that I could hear it and feel it in the floor when they're playing with kaboomite. It sounded and felt exactly like that, but it was after dark. They don't do that there.
I was going to watch the launch, but I had forgotten about it. Logged on here, and everyone was talking about it having blown up. I was about 65-70 miles away, and I am partially deaf. It got my attention, that's how big it was.
