Women vote on pure emotion.
I am a female.
I have not spoken to one of my dearest friends since she went on her HRC rant.
I do not want to destroy our long time friendship.
But, I hate to say that she is rather ignorant regarding the last 50 years of Politics.
So I said that I am not merely voting of her because she has a Va**na, but because she his truly stopped and evil. Her kids are in their 20’and she never voted before.
Gotta go Jeannine is on!!!
I am writing this on the MONDAY after the date of this thread’s discussion. Thus I might miss a bunch of you but I had to get this out there in view of my narrative upthread on males and their natural instincts. You’re right about women running on emotion and men running on testosterone. It’s not rocket science. On some level, at least until things go too far, it’s how nature (and God but let’s keep it simple and on a level everyone can accept) meant it to be.
But there are some simple and logical steps to keep everything copasetic and I came across a couple of good examples.
We have a couple of priests from India in our parish. They don’t have driver’s licenses which makes me think they are not yet citizens or something, but not sure why.
Anyway, there was needed parishioners to volunteer to drive these guys to different places but the bulletin plainly stated “FOR FEMALE DRIVERS MUST HAVE TWO TO DRIVE THE PRIEST”.
See? That makes sense and folks, the Catholic church has this thing locked solid, also with children...maybe more on this later.
Back in my day of rocking rolling women’s libbing I would have ranted and raved as to why it takes TWO women to drive the priests, and only one man, that it was discrimination...on and on.
Of course I would have been wrong. One woman driving a priest around? I wouldn’t do it but I’d be delighted for, say, Diane Feinstein and I to ride one of the priests on his nightly errands, which was how the effort was described.
Also, I had been going to see a local Baptist minister who wanted to convert me. I was in a troubled state and spent time with him learning the Baptist version of things. But he never had me in his office unless the secretary was present AND he left the door office open during our entire meeting.
This is how these things should be handled. Right up front the possibility that something untoward might happen should be addressed, when a lone male and lone female (yeah even priests, I don’t know why anyone would think priests are not vulnerable to human passion) need to meet there should be ways to keep a witness around, just in case.
I loved that the Baptist minister, no doubt also on the counsel of his church, made me feel somehow safe with his secretary right outside the door.
Finally, our priests do carry cell phones and many of us involved with this and that have their number. I have called Father Tom a couple of times on his cell and always he takes the call then tells me he will call me right back. Which he does, on the office phone.
You will not find a priest in my parish with many minutes spent with any parishioner on his cell phone, especially a female parishioner one might argue.
There’s ways to deal with this is my point, especially in those situations where such advance actions are best for everyone involved.
The Catholic church is also very much involved in researching the past of those working with young people, mostly because of the past abuse by a Bishop in Mass. In our church, if working with children your entire past is researched via some kind of “Angel” group.
Having a granddaughter who attends this church, this gives me comfort.
Males in a position to be accused of something bad should come up with some sort of system to make it not possible for a)those bad things to happen or b)someone to unjustly accuse.
