Russian border patrol agents were forced to open fire after attempting to stop a fishing vessel with North Korean crew on board for inspection.
But the crew resisted, according to the Russian Federal Security Service.
One Russian officer and nine North Korean fishermen were injured in the stand-off.
One of the injured fishermen later died in the hospital.
The incident happened late on Friday evening – according to the FSB statement, released online today.
A statement read: "During the search and control activities, guards found illegally-obtained water bio resources on board the vessel.
"The ship’s crew behaved aggressively towards members of the search group, refusing to comply with legal requirements."

Are North Korean subs going to start trying to sink Russian ships? Ten minutes after THAT starts, NKorea will no longer have subs, nor the base the subs came from.

its my understand we have in the past. until Barry that is. Barry and Hildy created something over there that Is a thorn in Russia’s side. My prediction is if Hildy gets the big seat, Russia will immediately start bombing US positions over there that impedes Russia’s interests. From there, Insert the line from Red October... I understand what your saying with NK and nukes, but im noticing on a lot of other threads its consensus that if the US and Russia get into it will be “nuclear War”
A lot of poaching and a willingness to take riskier trips into other countries’ waters could indicate they are facing severe famine again.
Is your contention that a war between us and Russia could stay conventional and that one side would accept conventional defeat?
I predict North Korea will eventually be divided into zones like Germany: Russia, China, US and South Korea will have their zones, while gradually it will be prepared for reunification with the South. In return the reunified Korea will be neutral and US forces will leave. I don’t think you could just automatically reunify with the South right away, because the people in the North have been so brainwashed over the years.

The Chinese are very much aware that what the Norks are doing is bad for business.
Norks are starving. Russians do not want these roaches to poach their waters.
That’s also the reason nobody wants the regime taken out, right away, China, South Korea and Russia and scared s-less of millions of refugees pouring over their borders if the country devolves into chaos.
