That kind of ad IMO wouldn’t even make a dent in the thinking of the millennials. They don’t have the foggiest idea what war would mean so no fear of it - no reference to Germany, Japan, (WWII), Vietnam, and probably not even the ME. UNLESS they had to drag their carcasses off to boot camp! THAT, I suppose would get their attention.
I was talking yesterday to a black lady who is a long time family friend. She always votes Dem (agghh!) but is actually fairly conservative on many issues. She’d seen the 60 Minutes piece on tensions with Russia (etc.) last week(?), and is scared to death. I did not see it, and so was not well placed to comment on the piece itself. For her to have reacted that way, though... She was also now much more accepting of my arguments regarding the present establishment, and so on. Hmmm... Maybe See BS has done us an unwitting favor?
I wonder if Ricky Medlocke has any rights to the Blackfoot version of “Morning Dew”? It’s a powerful remake of a scary song — the right video might even get through to some Millennials...
