I guess the Slime Balls are going to let the courts decide.
`Nothing in this article had the slightest effect on the reputation Mr. Trump has already created for himself`.
Translation - We`re trying to bolster the misinformation that has already been disseminated, with more disinformation.
THey know the libel laws make it nearly impossible for anyone to win a lawsuit, because it’s nearly impossible to prove that they acted out of malice. But in this case a suit would be more of a political statement, defusing the argument to some extent, and while the NYT will never print a retraction, it could tamp down some of the emotions, because to NOT sue sends the message that he is guilty.
He can always drop the suit later.
Sue them.
Own them.
Make Ann Coulter the Editor in Chief.
No. Win the election. Then lock the NY Times “journalist” clowns in a closet at the White House.
Is there ANY corroboration to this nonsense? AFAIK, it’s just fairy tales these “ladies” are telling.
The problem is, it`s hard to keep corporate news media held to account when their owners are multinationalists who may not even live in the country, and could care less about their outlets being profitable. They`re not there to make money. They are tools to help them protect their empires.
Ownership is the root of the problem, and has to be addressed before media corruption can be addressed in any meaningful way.
I don’t know much about libel suits, but I’m sure he could win one if he could prove the claims they made were totally false.
At any rate, I think the Donald should just up and BUY the damn thing and rename it...
Poor Donald’s Almanack
When did this become a “sexual assault”?
I agree that the NYTimes is disgusting, but the song lyric claim is ridiculous. The octopus phrasing was a common figure of speech long before the song.
Like a tabloid maintaining that lizard men from another dimension have a secret plot to control our brains, the NYT defends their charades to the last. But only unbalanced people put any stock in them.
The NYT is going broke.
I bet the owners aren’t going to be happy when those heavy court costs and lawyers fees start rolling in....
FWIW, "actual malice" in defamation law has NOTHING to do with ill will.
Nothing in our article has had the slightest effect on the reputation that Mr. Trump, through his own words and actions, has already created for himself,
That’s pure BS. What he said was in a private conversation, something that would not have impacted his reputation with the public.
Whereas what they are doing is publicly and intentionally disseminating lies that are harmful to Trump’s reputation.
Notice that they do not defend themselves by saying that what they published is true, which probably means the whole thing is fabricated.
Trump should sue the hell out of them - enough to bankrupt them.
I hope Trump ends up owning the NYT. Wouldn’t that just be a hoot and the perfect punishment for the slime balls.
I also hope the lying women get sued to homelessness and have to eat at soup kitchens the rest of their miserable lives due to their blatant lies. It would be the fitting end for them.
I hate the left because they lie, cheat, steal, and even murder people to further their agenda and have no conscience about doing it.
The media has been saying that the video shows that Trimp forced himself on I suspecting women.
In fact the video told quite the opposite story. Famous men in all walks of life have women throwing themselves at them . This kind of thing happens to very rich men, sports figures or actors just to make me a few. This is what Trump was talking about, how easy it would have been for him. THAT it would NOT be assault.
Isn’t that paper owned by a Mexican billionaire?
Oh I am so shocked
Armrests in first class aren’t movable.
Story claims he lifted the armrest.
The Slimes slimes again...
