Hard to believe it’s gotten to the point where a country has to justify border controls.

When the ministers of justice of the EU and the four EFTA countries meet in Luxembourg on Thursday, Anundsen will ask for the green light to keep Norways controls in place. Why ask?
If the EU Parliament objects just Brexit.
I seriously doubt that after Britain voted to leave that the EU is going to raise a fuss.
If one more country decides to leave the dam will break and the EU is history.
The EU is being held together with chewing gum and chicken wire.

Norwegian Justice Minister Anders Anundsen said on Thursday that the EU must allow Norway to continue with its temporary border controls for as long as the nation deems them necessary.
Minister Anundsen, may I respectfully suggest this to you: Don't "ask" them anything. TELL them that, as a sovereign nation, Norway will enforce its borders by whatever means it deems necessary. Furthermore, if the EU persists in interfering in the internal matters of your country, you will seek to withdraw from the Union.
