James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas released hidden camera video on Thursday, which shows Wisconsin’s Russ Feingold, a Democratic challenger for U.S. Senate, telling a Palo Alto, California, fundraiser that Hillary Clinton might use an executive order to enforce gun control. In a video shot during the fundraiser, O’Keefe asks Feingold, “If there’s still Republican control in Congress, and if Hillary is elected, is there anything she can do could do to, uh…”. Feingold jumps in and says, “Well, there might be executive order.”
O’Keefe responds by acting like he was learning this for the first time. In a surprised voice, he saus, “Oh, so she can…I know that President Obama…” Feingold then takes over the conversation, saying, “He did some executive orders with the aspects of waiting periods. But what we all need is to win the Senate, have her there, and then put pressure on the House. And we might win the House.”

Kind of curious to mention ‘internet’ in that statement. Are they saying they want checks for internet gun sales or for using the internet? thoughts?

I heard that O’keefe had tape of Hillary campaign people badmouthing African Americans. That could really bite her since KKK Bob Byrd was her mentor.
Just that fact alone would make me stay away from her. How could she ever live down being so close to a bigot.
Please, fellow FReepers, google how often Presidents have ordered martial law. It’s not as easy as it seems and requires approval from Congress. Hilly Boo Boo is not the Queen of Hearts.
The Preezy can’t just order citizens to turn in their guns, either. Obama would have loved to but was unable.

There are already background checks for internet sales.
Anytime a gun is purchased on Gunbroker, the seller will only ship it to an FFL, who then does the background check before turning the gun over to the buyer.
Should one respect and obey and edict from a criminal government? For that matter should one even be loyal to it? I swear I never dreamed I’d think and feel the way I do these days.
I take it to be the use of the internet. Not many guns are sold on the internet.

Regardless what the corrupt media wants everybody to think about POTUS being able to use executive orders to work unilaterally from Congress, please consider the following.
Not only did the Supreme Court clarify in Youngstown Sheet & Tube Co. v. Sawyer, 1952 that executive orders must not only be legislatively supported by Congress, but also note that Congress must be able to reasonably justify such legislation with its constitutional, Article I, Section 8-limited powers.
In fact, the 14th Amendment gives Congress the power only to strengthen constitutionally enumerated right, the 2nd Amendment for example.
“3. The right of suffrage was not necessarily one of the privileges or immunities of citizenship before the adoption of the Fourteenth Amendment, and that amendment does not add to these privileges and immunities. It simply furnishes additional guaranty for the protection of such as the citizen already had [emphasis added].” —Minor v. Happersett, 1874.
So corrupt Congress is evidently already planning for Hillary to follow in the footsteps of lawless Obama by likewise letting her get away with using unconstitutional executive orders to destroy 2nd Amendment protections.

Patriots need to support Trump / Pence by also electing a new, state sovereignty-respecting Congress that will not only work within its constitutional Article I, Section 8-limited powers to support Trump’s vision for making America great again for everybody, but will also put a stop to unconstitutonal federal taxes and likewise unconstitutional inteference in state affairs.
Note that such a Congress will also probably be willing to fire state sovereignty-ignoring activist justices.
She already created a war but in her own backyard. Let’s just focus on blaming Hillary for one war at a time and make it stick.

Just speculation.... If they demanded a background check, not at “transfer”, but before you bought the gun on say gunbroker that might make gunbroker’s business model difficult if not impossible. Maybe that’s what they mean to do.

It could help in Wisconsin. I agree it’s nothing on the national stage, but I’ll take any help in Wisconsin we can get :-).
