If Hillary wins, my wife wants us to move out of the country. I just don't know where would be better to go... she refuses to move somewhere where there are seasons (she hates the cold).... and third world countries will fare worse than the US if things really hit the fan.

Since we're already basically retired, my inclination is to just stay and lay low and live out the rest of our lives... and sit here and say "told you so..." as everyone suffers through her reign.

If Hillary wins, there will be scandal after scandal... of course none of them will result in anything good since the DOJ is corrupt. But, if Trump wins, it will be non-stop Trump bashing from the left and MSM... on everything that happens. That will be pretty miserable too.

IMO, you don’t need to leave the United States. Where else is better, in spite of Hellary? The Philippines? Belize?

If you’re on the Left Coast or in Northeastern Commieland, forsake those for one of the Deep South states. Not perfect but cost of living is less and there is not as yet a dominant PC culture. I live in South Carolina (didn’t grow up here) & I wouldn’t trade it for anywhere else.

Good place to ride out four years of Hillary. But maybe Trump will be elected, by hundreds of thousands of voters who are now keeping their views underground.

After WW11 we left Britain and emigrated to California in 1952. Britain, wanting to ensure the populace didn’t leave in droves, enacted a law that each adult leaving could only take the equivalent of $100 with them. I was under 12, so my parents, brother and myself, after selling their home and all belongings, came to this country with only $350 in their hands, and could only withdraw $400 every 5 years thereafter. The U.S. may consider something similar if people wanted to leave in droves so be warned and maybe figure out a lnvestment now in some way you can take your wealth with you.
