Mexican isn't a race. Indigenous and mixed race Mexicans are considered second class citizens in Mexico. Look at Univision’s home page. Looks like a bunch of Norwegians. Whiter people you will never see.

So very, very, very true. Virtually all actors and actresses in TV shows from Mexico on south are all *extremely* European looking. I’ve watched quite a few Mexican TV shows on Netflix (some of those women are insanely hot) and noticed that trend almost immediately. I guess that makes their media quite racist! :-)

The only time you’ll see someone that looks native is when the role calls out for a drug dealer or cartel leader.
