She cannot be pardoned before adjudication for treason. That is a constitutionally mandated capital offense.

Wrong, there is no such constitutional limit on a president's pardon power.

Article II, Section 2, US Constitution:

"...he shall have Power to grant Reprieves and Pardons for Offences against the United States, except in Cases of Impeachment."
