Over the first five weeks, ratings are down more than 10 percent.

It must be due to climate change. It stays warm later into the year, and people don’t think of it as “football weather”.
What else could possibly be the cause?

I will gladly take the blame. I don’t and won’t watch.
Let the NFL change or die.

Hopefully the NBA will be right behind them, especially the Mavericks and Mark Cuban.

It’s too bad, I like watching the playoffs when the weather turns cold and I can’t work outside. I’m getting tired of watch all the aspiring rap artists do their stupid dances in the end zone so maybe I’ll pass. Go Patriots! See, I’m torn here!

As more and more people realize that not watching will not adversely affect their lives, more will permanently avoid the sport.
Frankly, most of us have better things to do than watch a lot of commercials interspersed with watching a few overpaid thugs bashing it out on a field.
At least, I certainly do.

I’ve gotten to where, if I’m looking for some down time on a cold day, I rent a good movie or play a fun computer game. One’s passive and one’s proactive. All depends on my mood.

I’ve found Sunday afternoons this time of year are simply gorgeous since I’m now out of the house ignoring the thugarama on TV.

What else could possibly be the cause? I blame it on George Bush.

It’s really going to help ratings now that Colon Dipernick is going to take the field. Yeah baby!

I haven’t watched any game this season. I lost interest when it no longer was about the game and became a political activist show.
Much of this started with the pink stuff and has steadily gotten worse.

Not serious enough. Plus, IIRC, Roger “Baghdad Bob” Goodell says everything is fine.

I looked up at a game for a minute while at a restaurant and all I saw was PINK gloves and shoes. Looked pretty effeminate to me.

Gee I can’t understand it. I mean, well, football players turned against decent Americans, and now, decent Americans are turning away from football. I just can’t figure it out.

What else could possibly be the cause?Aging population - people don't want to waste time watching that crap. Pink bows on their shoes. Lack of diversity in the players. Injection of politics from the announcers to the 3rd string players.
But most of all . . IT'S REALLY, REALLY BORING
