I don’t think the Ryan thing can be called as greater than a “suspicion” at this point; it may be a strong suspicion, it may be a super strong suspicion, but it is probably not a good thing, IMHO, to go wild over right now. My .02.
Look at reality. If Hillary wins....she walks in with marginal health and will not be performing much on travels or public events for four years. All Ryan has to do is create various fake confrontations (like the Republicans have done for eight years), and in 2020...Ryan is the winner of the primary and will go head-to-head against a very weak and unhealthy Hillary (go imagine how her present condition will only get worse), and Ryan wins in 2020.
If Trump wins....he’s there for likely eight years. Then in 2024, it’s likely to be a Democrat running and winning. So, the next cycle where Ryan has a chance on this scenario is 2032. That’s a heck of a long time away, and Ryan won’t be around by that point in politics. It’s now or never for Ryan.
Screw the suspicion. That traitorous idiot Ryan got the entire GOP caucus on a conference call and told them he wouldn’t help Trump anymore. What Speaker does something as stupid and evil as that weeks before the presidential election?
