I think it was Dennis Prager who said this, that they are more afraid of losing control of the base than losing yet another election to the Democrats.
They are more afraid of JAIL than they are of losing the election.
we (Tea Party) gave them power and huge majorities in the ‘10 and ‘14 midterms and they responded by turning around and spitting in our face- and they got away with it...
they realize they will no longer get away with it if Trump wins...
they have lost control of there base....the republican party is gone after this election. a good 25 percent of the base is ready to abandon the party. most of it because of long term problems in the party. trump is just the straw that broke the camels back.
