Just a comment, although I’m not part of your conversation: I believe God sends people into your life at different times for purposes that maybe only He understands. I’ve had dear friends in the past, but as lives and circumstances change, many have become “old friends”.
I just appreciate what we had when we had it, and look forward to what’s in store for me in the future.
Yes, I’ve read that same thing, probably in the Patsy Clairmont books I have. That is how I’m going to look at it. Won’t be the first long time friend I’ve slowly lost touch with. It all happens for a reason I guess. Thanks for your thoughts on this!
